This surf lesson is a fun and active way to enjoy the Caribbean Coast of Costa Rica. The experience takes place at Playa Negra Cahuita, a beautiful black-sand beach known for its great waves, relaxed atmosphere, and playful conditions for different surf levels.

From beginners to more advanced surfers, this experience can be adapted to each client’s level. First-time surfers will learn the basic techniques, including ocean safety, paddling, board control, balance, and how to stand up on the board. More experienced surfers can receive guidance to improve their technique and confidence in the water.

Surf, Beach & Pura Vida

Playa Negra Cahuita offers a beautiful natural setting for a surf lesson, with warm Caribbean water, tropical surroundings, and a relaxed local vibe. The lesson includes the surfboard, all necessary surfing equipment, transportation from hotels in Cahuita, fresh fruit, and plenty of pura vida.

Every lesson is different, and the experience may vary depending on ocean conditions, tides, waves, weather, and the client’s surf level. Safety is always the priority, and the instructor will guide clients according to the conditions of the day.
