A Full Monteverde Experience
This combo tour is designed for clients who want to experience the best of Monteverde in one day. The day combines local culture, cloud forest scenery, hanging bridges, and a guided night walk to discover the forest from a completely different perspective.
The experience begins with a Monteverde Coffee Tour, where clients learn about the full process of specialty coffee from plant to cup. Local experts explain the cultivation, harvesting, processing, roasting, and brewing methods that influence the flavor and aroma of Costa Rican coffee.
Clients will also learn about sustainability, responsible farming, biodiversity, and the importance of coffee in Monteverde’s history and local community. At the Coffee Lab, they can taste specialty coffee and appreciate the differences between processes and roasts.
Hanging Bridges in the Cloud Forest
After the coffee experience, the tour continues to Selvatura Park for the Hanging Bridges experience. Clients will walk along approximately 3 km of cloud forest trails connected by 8 hanging bridges.
This scenic walk allows clients to experience the forest from different levels, from the forest floor to the canopy. Along the way, they can enjoy misty trails, ancient trees, orchids, mosses, ferns, birds, and panoramic views of Monteverde’s cloud forest.
This part of the tour is peaceful, beautiful, and ideal for photography, nature lovers, and clients who want to enjoy the cloud forest without a difficult hike.
Night Walk Wildlife Experience
In the evening, the adventure continues with a guided night walk. As the forest becomes darker, many animals become more active, making this one of the best times to observe Monteverde’s nocturnal wildlife.
With the help of a certified guide and spotting scope, clients may see frogs, snakes, insects, tarantulas, armadillos, sloths, sleeping birds, and other species that are easier to observe at night.
Every tour is different, and wildlife sightings depend on the weather, season, moonlight, trail conditions, and the natural behavior of the animals.
